It's been 29 years since the first Bullets team made its debut, and 24 years since the Bullets returned to Irondale to provide the community with a quality youth sports program. With the loss of it's 2nd facility in 10 years, this time with no attempt by the City of Irondale to provide another, Bullets SC is no longer a part of the landscape in Irondale. Parks & Recreation, specifically youth sports, is no longer supported by the City.
In 12 years Soccer in Irondale went from 2 clubs, 2 facilities, and several hundred players down to zero.
Over the last 20 years, the various administrations of The City of Irondale have demonstrated that providing quality Parks & Recreation facilities and programs for the children and residents of Irondale is not a a part of their vision.
